Rubia Medina
About:
Rubia is an MA student with a keen interest in American Religions. She aims to become an Americanist, focusing her studies on Islam in comparison with other religions. Her research interests include Sufism, particularly the Rifa‘iyya order, women’s leadership in Islam, and the relationship between Islam and modern societies.
Over the years, She has acquired several languages for research purposes, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Modern Hebrew, Arabic (Advanced level), and some German.
