Barry Wimpfheimer is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Law at Northwestern University and his author of The Talmud: A Biography (2018) and Narrating the Law: A Poetics of Talmudic Legal Stories (2011)

Ryan DeCarsky

Ryan is from the Bay Area of California and moved to Santa Barbara in 2016. He earned his BA in Sociology and a custom designed major of American Indian & Indigenous Studies from UCSB in 2019. He also completed two minors, one in Religious Studies and the other in History. He loves working with students to maximize their educational opportunities and working to lower the barriers of higher education.
