Saleem Al-Bahloly
About:
I’m a postdoctoral scholar in the Humanities & Social Change Center, where I study the intellectual legacy of religious traditions in the modern world, and in particular how concepts from these traditions are re-activated in forms of art practice that emerge in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
In the Department of Religious Studies, I teach a range of courses on themes that arise at the intersection of religion with art, politics, and science.
